What is Yoga Therapy?

- Yoga Therapy is a one-on-one session, which allows the individual and therapist to focus on particular problems or needs.
- The yoga therapist does all of the work, while the client simply lies in relaxation or supported poses.
- One yoga therapy session is usually equivalent to six yoga classes.
- Yoga Therapy may use one of two techniques, or a combination of both in any given session, depending on client needs.
1. Yoga Poses
Carefully selected poses are customized for each client for the most effective release of areas of the body that are frozen or shut down
2. Embodyment® Yoga Therapy
